Sanders has grown from a 5-foot-11, 125-pound freshman throwing in the mid-70s into a still very projectable 6-foot-6, 195-pound long-limbed athlete. Sanders still isn’t a high velocity thrower, working in the 89-91 mph range and occasionally touching higher, but will almost certainly throw harder as he continues to fill out. At present, he has outstanding command of a three-pitch mix that includes a sharp slider and a very deceptive changeup.
