2019 Recruiting Rankings
| 2019 High School Player Rankings

While these rankings are certain to change between now and a year from now as the players from the high school class of 2019 sign their official National Letters of Intent, below is an early breakdown of the top 10 college recruiting efforts for the 2019-20 school year.

1. Vanderbilt

It’s wash, rinse, and repeat in Nashville as a brief glimpse into the future reveals yet another loaded class for the Commodores, one that already sports 18 commits, 12 of whom are ranked within the top 100. While the 2018 class had a nucleus of Georgia prep products, the 2019 class has a California vibe to it with five players in total coming out of the baseball hot bed, including two of their top three ranked players. Hard throwing righthander Wesley Scott and his mid-90s fastball leads the way in a class that features an abundance of depth, pitchability, velocity and overall feel on the bump. The up-the-middle talent is near endless and is led by ultra-versatile Washington native Carter Young, who’s joined by Anthony Volpe and Tyler McKenzie, along with a couple two-way, impact pieces. Among the two-way talents are Spencer Jones and Michael Doolin, both of whom provide value on both sides of the ball and are both ranked in the top 40 as a result. The group of 18 commits is composed from nine different states, again speaking to the reach that Vanderbilt has on the recruiting trail.
