The Futures League once again saw the Massachusetts powerhouse Worcester Bravehearts in the championship series as they swept the Bristol Blues across two games to pick up their fourth FCBL title in six years.

The FCBL Player of the Year was Sean Lawlor (Flagler) who had an outstanding year for the North Shore Navigators at the plate finishing either first or second in all of the following categories: batting average (.351), hits (66), runs scored (44), doubles (15), home runs (8), RBIs (40) and slugging percentage (.590).

The FCBL Pitcher of the Year was Angelo Baez (St. Thomas Aquinas) as he tossed 44 innings across 14 appearances, picking up five wins in six starts while posting a 1.63 ERA, walking just 15 and striking out 62.
