Mid-Atlantic Select, World Series Scout Notes

The reoccurring theme within the Northeast these past two weeks has been the weather and plenty of rain that has wreaked havoc upon many of our events these past two weekends. In an effort to cover as much as we can throughout the region, here are some notable standouts from various events that were supposed to be onto the playoff rounds starting today, but have been pushed deeper into Monday now.





J.R. Struk (2025, Charleston, S.C.) has shown the propensity to find the barrel and find it quite often for his Clubhouse Scout 14U squad. The athletically built youngster hit .625 during pool play for the Connecticut based team, flashing tons of present bat speed and prodigious power potential throughout the games. He launched two home runs and accumulated another extra base hit in just 8 at-bats by using a relatively simple approach at the plate, keen hand-eye coordination and the mentioned barrel skills to impact the baseball with authority. It was our first look at him within this region and it was certainly a good, as he has the components to continue excelling at the plate for years to come.
