We’ve talked about insane weekends of college baseball, but this weekend certainly took the cake as four teams in the top-10 lost and 11 Top 25 teams lost their respective series. Tennessee swept Ole Miss in Oxford, cementing themselves as the absolute No. 1 team in the country, and at this point it seems the rest of the country is trying to keep up with the Vols.

Oklahoma State rises to No. 2 after sweeping Kansas and winning their 11th straight game, while Virginia has been one of the most impressive teams in the country and jump to No. 3 after winning two of three against Wake Forest. Texas Tech is at No. 4 after a huge home series win over Texas that was one of the most entertaining series’ of the year. Oregon State went on the road to beat Cal and is the No. 5 team in the country.

We have four new teams to add to the Top 25, which is a season-high for the PG rankings. Oregon leads the Pac-12 and won another series against USC and they enter at No. 16, while Dallas Baptist is the No. 1-ranked team in terms of RPI and Strength of Schedule and they enter at No. 17. Louisiana Tech looks to be the class of Conference USA and they enter at No. 21, while Gonzaga has one of the best resumes in the country, and they enter at No. 25.
