Tyler Ball (2023, Highland, Utah) got the ball for the semifinals matchup against a tough lineup and did not disappoint. The Stanford commit threw five shutout innings while striking out eight total. The right-hander features a slender build with room to add. Quality athleticism allows for a quick tempo delivery down the mound. The fastball sat 86-89 mph with plenty of life through the zone. Quick arm speed allows the offering to get on hitters quickly. The fastball was paired with a tight curveball that sat 71-75 mph. Sharp bite and depth allows the offering to miss bats when thrown around the zone. The stuff and upside make Ball one of the more interesting arms in the state of Utah.
