Taking home MVP honors was Grayson Lincecum (2023, Houston, Texas) after an impressive weekend with the bat. The 6-foot-4, 220-pound corner infield profile put up some damage at the plate leading the offensive charge for HP 2023 Heard’s championship run. He finished the tournament totaling eight hits, including two huge home runs for nine RBI and seven runs scored, holding a productive weekend and consistent approach. The strength has been progressive over the year, transferring across his tools. Very well-rounded hit tool plays effectively to both sides of the field. Both his home runs were no-doubters, the strong build suggests true power potential as the swing refines. Also is defensively sound, moving well around first base clean with an easy arm to like. A lot of impact potential and middle-of-the-lineup juice in that bat projects well as he approaches an opportunity at the next level. Currently ranked the No. 44 prospect in the state, Lincecum shows huge potential to be a valuable land for a college lineup to hop on. Huge upside and feel for the game for this uncommitted prospect.
