WWBA Underclass Scout Notes: Day 1

Anthony Quigley (2024, Sunrise, Fla.) has been swinging a loud stick over two days, roping a two-run double to the left-center gap on Sunday. The physical tools and projection really show in the overall profile. Physical, but athletic 6-foot-3 frame with good size to both halves. Fires the hips hard, but the barrel lags through the zone and catches up with good whip and intent. The size and physicality combined with the impact off the bat bodes well for future power projection that’s beginning to show in game. Quigley’s arm strength plays on the mound in the high-80s or handling a corner spot defensively. The bat is a big calling card and can blossom. Keep a close eye on this uncommitted 2024 product.
