WWBA Freshman World Scout Notes: Day 1

Ethan Wisler (2027, Wake Forest, North Carolina) had a spectacular outing for The East Coast Dodgers Scout team going 5 shutout innings on 8ks while walking nobody. He only gave up 2 hits scattered throughout his outing. Wisler throws from a mid ¾ slot while coming full circle with his arm. He works downhill and in line with an upbeat delivery. Wisler worked with confidence and poise throughout his outing and knew exactly what and where he wanted to throw. He ran his fastball up to 83 with some sinking action. He mixed in a healthy 10-4 curve with depth. He also flashed a slider with some tilt. Wisler is a projectable arm who should be a quality name to keep an eye on moving forward.
