Jackson Riffe (2026, Bradenton, Fla.) tossed 5 hitless innings on Saturday. The uncommitted pitcher worked in the low-70s on the fastball and mixed in a curveball and slider. He located his pitches effectively and fired from a ¾ arm slot. Chaz Templeton (2027, Bradenton, Fla.) took over in the 6th inning. He earned the save and completed the combined no-hitter. Templeton threw a fastball-heavy attack, working in the low-80s and topping out at 82 mph. He also flashed a slider. He allowed no walks nor hits en route to the victory.
