Ryan Hjellming (2026, Cannon Falls, Minn.) took to the mound for MASH Baseball 16U Maroon and put together an exceptional start. He’s a 5-foot-11, 160-pound frame with more of an athletic frame and build, with the feel to work down the slope well and projectable traits in his delivery. He has a clean move with some extension through his three-quarters release. The ball comes out well. His fastball worked up to 87 mph w/arm-side life and some angle in the lower half of the zone. Can sink the fastball. Hjellming also mixes in a slider with good depth to it and a higher-tilt shape, getting some gyro-look to it at times, creating good sidespin.
