14u World Series Scout Notes: Days 1-2 | Day 3

Yariel "Lito" Diaz (2028, Saint Cloud, Fla.) wasn't as sharp as we just saw him during the 15u World Series, but he still showed plenty to impress, especially when you consider just how young he truly is for the age. Up to 85 mph in this look, Diaz continued to settle in throughout the outing, sitting in the 81-84 mph range from an extended slot with some running life through the zone, pitching to contact for the most part. As the innings continued to unfold we started to see the pitchability come out out, doubling up on the breaking ball while also going to arguably his best pitch in the changeup, a mid-70s offering which he sells very well with ma
