17u BCS Scout Notes: Days 1-2

Gage McCrystal (2025, Winter Haven, Fla.) earns top billing on this edition of scout notes, and rightfully so. After earning All-Tournament Team honors in East Cobb, he has brought his hot bat with him to Fort Myers. The physical 6-foot-3 athlete has gone yard in each of his first 3 games. He has struck early every time, as the 3-hole hitter has commenced liftoff in the first inning of each game respectively. He has also added two doubles, one of which was of the bases-clearing variety. The uncommitted third baseman has shown incredible feel for the barrel with plus bat speed. He has an athletic frame with present power and room to add more.
