16/17u Battle of the Midwest Scout Notes: Day 1

Hunter Vadeer (2025, Austin, Minn.) put together a really impressive outing on Friday. The right-handed pitcher has a projectable 6-foot-1, 210-pound build and frame. He has a clean release working down the slope with a clean delivery. He has a longer arm action with tons of whip through release. The fastball worked the mid- to upper-80s and he was able to reach back to grab 90 mph on the fastball. The pitch had carry with burst out of the hand. He also showed an 11-5 shaped breaking ball in the upper-70s with tight spin and good bite to it. Vadeer went the distance on a complete-game victory, throwing 6.0 innings, allowing 1 hit, walking 2, and striking out 8 opposing hitters. He missed bats and attacked hitters from start to fini
