14u WWBA West Notes: Days 1-2
James Rex (2028 Lehi, UT) has been a nightmare for opposing Pitchers throughout the 14u WWBA West, posting a slash line of .750/.833/2.000 over the first five games and leading MBA Navy 2028 into the Championship Game.  Rex stays short to the ball with a compact swing and can spray it all over the field.  Out of his nine hits in twelve at-bats, he has three-doubles, a triple and has driven in five, while walking six times.  The primary Backstop has been a standout performer behind the plate, blocking up everything and doing his part to help to keep the basepath clean.  Rex was named as the MVP of the 14u WWBA West Tournament.
