Coach Corbin and Vandy take their annual spot in the Top 10, and there’s clearly a lot to be excited about in Nashville heading into 2025 and beyond. The Commodores have managed to pick up three Perfect Game All-Americans in the form of Seth Hernandez, Sean Gamble, and Slater de Brun with tons of depth to be found as you continue down the list.

Hernandez, a 6-foot-4, 195 pound primary right-hander, can run it up to 98 mph is expected to make an immediate impact on the mound with potential to do damage as a two-way threat. While Hernandez is a a freak athlete to say the least, the same can also be said about future teammate Sean Gamble who runs a 6.42 sixty with big time tools to be found on both sides of the field. If for some reason that wasn’t enough, Slater de Brun also presents lightning fast speed tool, running a 6.39 sixty with the ability to simply demolish baseballs with advanced contact and power tools on display. Considering that’s only the top 3 prospects that Coach Corbin has managed to snag, Vandy isn’t a team you want to be seeing in the coming years.

2023 marked the squad’s 18th consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance, good for the longest current streak in the country. If you’re a fan of college baseball, the word success is synonymous with Vanderbilt and has been for years. While the Commodores have their fair share of names who move on to the next level each season, Coach Corbin and co. have made a habit of replenishing the talent pool to compete at the highest level time and time again. It’s only a matter of time before the boys in Black and Gold get their hands on hardware again, and this might just be the group to do it.
