As much as any year has been in recent memory, the 2013 MLB Draft is going to heavy on college talent from parts of the country we wouldn’t typically associate with having elite players. Michigan and Michigan State have high level draft talent, as do Notre Dame and Indiana State. And, the Minnesota Golden Gophers are also proud owners of high level draft talent. On top of having other arms like D.J. Snelten - who is also generating some draft buzz - Minnesota has Tom Windle, who has maintained his status throughout the spring as one of the elite college southpaws in this year’s class.
