Primary shortstop, plays with calculated movements and presents glove early. Secondary outfielder that stays low with some hop and fields square with a one-hand gather. Medium length arm action with a three- quarter arm slot and average arm strength. Also threw an inning on the mound. The right-handed pitcher works from a core-level leg lift with an on-line stride. Athletic mover down the mound with a medium length off-line high three- quarter arm action and slot. The fastball (1921 RPM) was low-70s and topped out at 73. Mixed a curveball (1798 RPM) with 11-5 shape and medium depth. Some tightness to the spin when right. Right-handed hitter starts from a medium base with even feet and a high back elbow, utilizes a heel lift trigger. Good handset and turns hard, swinging with intent. Quality bat speed and gets the barrel out. Working to lift the ball with a steep path and showed some pull-side lofted power. Exciting player with upside. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
