Thomas Formica is a 2027 C/RHP/OF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Middletown, NJ who attends Curtis. Formica works from a lean projectable build with plenty of room to fill out and add strength as a '27 prospect. As a primary C, he displayed a wider side saddle set to start with active footwork to produce throws around the bag. Arm path has time to refine with strength expected to improve in the future. Posted a 2.24 pop time. From the OF, showcased an aggressive approach through the baseball flashing full arm action up to 79 mph. Offensively, the righty started from a crouched stance with a lower hand set, generating evident bat speed with consistent impact to the pull side/middle of the field. He worked into the lower half well with present jump off the barrel, posting an exit velo of 78 mph. Ran a 7.77 sixty yard dash.
