Gage Epting is a 2027 1B/INF with a 5-11 153 lb. frame from Scottsdale, AZ who attends Chaparral HS. Started off the event clocking a 7.48 60-yard dash. A primary infielder. Shows softness to his hands and has good fluidity through his fielding motion. Moves well into the hole as well as up the middle. Throws across the diamond are strong for his build and he flashes solid accuracy. At the plate, shows and even stance with a high hanging leg lift trigger. Close handset moves up and back into his load as his front side guides his heavy linear weight shift forward. Direct path to and through the zone with a middle of the field approach.
