Zachary Day is a 2028 SS/RHP with a 5-7 135 lb. frame from New York, NY who attends Dwight-Englewood. Lean, athletic build with plenty of physical projection remaining. Primary shortstop, shows the glove early when working through the baseball and funnels it with soft hands. Remains light on his feet, utilizing his momentum as he carries it into release. Showcased the ability to adjust slots on the run while recording arm strength up to 74 mph across the diamond.
Secondary right-handed pitcher, utilizes an abbreviated wind-up with a belt-high leg lift. Accelerates well down the slope and into a loose three-quarters slot. Fastball showed tons of arm-side run and was located well throughout the strike zone; topped it out at 76 mph. Mixed in a two-plane breaking ball with some lateral break to it. Projects for an uptick in velocity with additional strength. Right-handed hitter, starts in a narrow stance with high and tight hands. Utilizes a simple stride for timing before working into a level bat path. Remains short and quick to the baseball, generating consistent line drive impact to the middle of the field. Gets a bit rotational at times. Projects for more power with additional strength. Posted an exit velocity of 67 mph. Ran a 7.66 sixty-yard dash.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
