William Hurt is a 2025 SS/C/OF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Midlothian, VA who attends St. Christopher's. Longer, athletic frame with square shoulders and plenty of room to continue to fill out. Ran a 6.97 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, works to get around the baseball, working to get to a good fielding position on every rep, on top of the throws across, higher effort operation, good glove actions, softer hands, moves well to his left, solid round that will translate better in game with under control actions. Took reps off the mound, right-handed pitcher, full wind-up with a big sidestep towards first base, works mainly from a high three-quarter slot but will occasionally drop down to sidearm, fastballs get substantial run from that angle, over the top curve can land in the zone, interesting stuff here with the slot switching that can be mastered as time progresses. Left-handed hitter, upright with a slightly open stance, high hands and back elbow to pair, small inward move, gets to launch quickly with plenty of bat speed, creates separation and lift with loose hands, pull oriented round, gets extended, very solid round. Athletic left-handed hitting middle infielder with budding arm strength, upper echelon skill set based off that alone and projects nicely. Great student. Named to the 2023 National Underclass Showcase Main Event Top Prospect List. Virginia Tech commit.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
