2024 Great Lakes High School All-State Games (Invite Only)
Max Mackenzie is a 2026 OF/2B with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Chicago, IL who attends DePaul College Prep. Mackenzie showed some speed in the Sixty Yard Dash running a 6.91. The frame showed some length with plenty of athletic actions and room for additional strength going forward. Primary outfielder with developing footwork fielding the ball cleanly out in front with a one handed side shuffle gather. Very athletic actions coming through the ball working showing some length through the backside with the arm action at a higher release point getting downhill with some cary on his throws and accuracy to the bases. Right handed hitter with a wider slightly open base into a toe tap trigger. The Stride is short to the ball creating good direction into a quick direct bat through the zone driving hard line drives all over the feel. Max presented advanced feel for the barrel throughout his round with very projectable actions going forward. He was named to the 2024 Great Lakes All State Games Top Prospect list.
