Tyler McKinley is a 2027 2B/RHP/OF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Milton, GA who attends Cambridge. Tall and slender athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. Ran a 6.88 60-yard dash. Right handed hitter, even base, high hands with a high back elbow, some looseness to the wrists, more bat speed and impact to project on, good traits here, solid middle of the field to pull results, longer stride out working with an inside out bat path, controls the barrel well. Primary infielder, corner type look, developing footwork, played well up the middle, has some arm strength. Took reps in the outfield, charges in hard with intent, fields it off to the side, accurate throws, developing feet. Right-handed pitcher, full wind-up with a small sidestep, three-quarters slot, medium depth arm circle, inline down the slope, neutral front foot at landing, pushes through the slot with the change and can cut across, two seam action to the heater with some arm side run and sink, can jam right-handed hitters, loose depth to the curve, compact delivery and can zone the fastball, two plane breaker. Good athlete with some feel to hit and good traits. Outstanding student. Named to the Perfect Game Fall Southeast Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
