Tristan Zam is a 2025 OF/RHP/SS with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from New York, NY who attends Poly Prep Country Day. Medium athletic build with some present strength. 4.93 runner in the forty. Primary outfielder on defense, young footwork on defense, tends to stop his momentum through his throws, short and compact arm stroke, more arm strength in there with better footwork. Also worked out in the infield, worked through the ball more consistently and threw the ball well. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow open stance, has a short uphill swing and is looking to put the ball in the air, stays too inside at times, flashes hand strength and drove the ball well to the middle of the field when he got the barrel out, can improve with adjustments. Took a turn on the mound, works from a full windup with a hand drop delivery and a pause over the rubber at the top of his delivery, short and compact arm action. Fastball topped out at 78 mph, works mostly with his fastball while also mixing in an occasional mid-60's curveball. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
