Brendan Freeman is a 2027 RHP/OF with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from McKinney, TX who attends Emerson. Big and tall athletic build with some present strength and more to come. Has a high leg raise delivery on the mound with a short arm takeaway and a high 3/4's arm slot, multi-part segmented mechanics that can get out of sync at times, hides the ball well to add further deception. Fastball sat in the mid-80's and topped out at 88 mph, comes out of his hand easy and the velocity plays up, gets nice carry up in the zone. Slider was a good pitch with nice tight spin and big two-plane sweep with depth. Stuff over command at present until he develops consistency in his mechanics. Showed big arm strength in the outfield from a longer and deeper arm stroke. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow base with a high and deep hand load, downhill swing plane that put the ball on the ground consistently. Good student. Named to the Class of 2027 All-American Games Top Prospect List.
