Mikey Lopez is a 2028 1B/RHP, OF with a 6-4 165 lb. frame from Livermore, CA who attends De La Salle. Large, long limbed frame with square shoulders and a lean build, room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.98 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, moves well for size away from the bag and will continue to refine, fields the ball well and does so out front, solid feeds to intended base with accuracy and maintains balance throughout, big target for infielders to throw to. Also pitched, full windup on the mound with hands-over-head, long arm action through the back working to a high three-quarters release; fastball topped out at 78 mph with some running life, taller delivery at release but still able to work downhill. Keeps hitters off balance in the box, curveball shows 11-5 shape with depth and a maintained arm action up to 64 mph. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high back elbow in the box and utilizes a high leg kick trigger for timing. Gets the barrel moving quickly and creates separation in swing while using length to generate leverage out front. Big power upside and lived on the barrel well. Swings with intent, best juice at present to the middle of the field. Named to the 14u Northern California All-State Games Top Prospect List.
