Nicholas Didonato is a 2027 OF/RHP with a 5-6 125 lb. frame from Lake Grove, NY who attends Centereach. Lean, high-waisted build with plenty of room and time to add more strength. Primary outfielder, takes longer strides as he approaches the baseball. Stays low while working through it, carrying his momentum well into release. Displayed developing footwork and athleticism in the outfield. Kept his throws online while recording arm strength up to 66 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, worked exclusively from the stretch with a shorter stride down the slope. Separates into a segmented arm path and lands open at footstrike. Fastball got up to 70 mph and was paired with a low-60s slider with spin up to 2138 rpm. Faced minor command issues during live action. Projects for an uptick in velocity with additional strength and future mechanical refinement. Right-handed hitter, starts in an even stance with tight hands. Utilizes a negative toe-tap trigger for timing before working into a level bat path. Displayed developing bat speed and consistency. Produced several soft liners to the middle of the field during batting practice. Projects for more power with additional strength. Posted an exit velocity of 62 mph. Ran a 7.86 sixty-yard dash. Excellent student.
