Fielding - INF - Gets body set into good fielding positions with glove displayed down and early for clean reception. Slower footwork that profiles to the corners. Avg, quickness with exchange and used an extra shuffle before getting off throws. Can work on moving with more urgency and pace. - C - Advanced catching ability for level. Throw downs were made from a knee down and side saddle position. Gained good ground with footwork and showed a quick/clean exchange. Set good direction towards 2nd and made strong/accurate throws to 2nd for his level. Also exhibited good framing ability during gameplay. Hitting - Stands in a considerably open and narrow stance. Loads smooth/early and uses a simple forward move. Hands takeback a ton into a slight arm bar. Barrel gets into a flatter launch and gets thrown on a slight uphill path through the baseball. Tilted shoulders help create that uphill path. Produced strong LD barrels to all fields. Exhibited advanced bat speed for his level. - Tries to time everything at one before feeling the ground into launch which caused some late swings. Armbar can cause some problems later against higher velo.
