Jacob Sanchez is a 2024 OF/2B with a 5-8 170 lb. frame from Hidalgo, TX who attends Mcallen Memorial. Recorded a 7.12 second 60-yard dash time. Primary outfielder with a medium frame and athletic build. Quick feet in the outfield reading the hops and working through the ball. Good release after gather with uphill slot on throws to the bases at 74 mph. Outfield velocity on throws would increase with a longer arm stroke and takeaway with present online accuracy. Right-handed hitter with a narrow base and upright stance. Controls the barrel with some strength in the hands and pull side impact with leverage out front. Excellent student.
