Dalton Vandeburgh is a 2028 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Cottonwood, CA who attends Foothill. Recorded a 7.68 second sixty yard dash time. Lean athletic build. Primary shortstop that is on his quick feet and stays behind the ball. Gets to his spots with clean glove work. Soft hands with a longer transfer with mostly accurate throws. Fluid actions with solid strength. Can adjust with decent athleticism to actions. Also threw on the mound. The right-handed pitcher works from a simple low-effort operation. Real small lift with a compact arm action and a three- quarter arm slot. The fastball (1649 RPM) was 70-73 and had some depth and fade to them. Also showed a big sweepy slider (1892 RPM) that was mid-60s that he could land in the zone. The right-handed hitter starts from a standard base with an upright stance. Peppered some liners up the middle and the other way. Contact over power. Developing bat speed with some feel for the barrel. Also collected a backside RBI double during his game action. Excellent student. Named to the High School All-State Select Championship Top Prospect List.
