Austin Walker is a 2027 1B/RHP/3B with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Clemmons, NC who attends West Forsyth. Recorded an 8.01 second sixty yard dash time. Medium frame with a thick build. Primary first baseman that moves fine and a lower slot to make the plays with good accuracy on all the throws and comfortable bouncing off the bag. Secondary right-handed pitcher works from a waist-level quick leg lift and lands slightly open. Medium length arm action with a high three- quarter arm action. The fastball (1918 RPM) was 69-73 and mixed in the change-up (1027 RPM) early and in the strike zone with subtle fading action. Consistent with the change-up. Right-handed hitter starts from a wide with even feet, utilizes a stride for timing. Easy hand strength with low effort impact and some louder barrels to the middle-of-the-field.
