Higher-set waist with room to keep filling out moving forward. Ran a 7.43 60-yard dash. Primary corner infielder. He worked out at first base with a quick arm and good strength working across the diamond. He had clean feeds with a big shuffle into his throws. Two-handed fielding with a clean funnel and athletic look to the actions. Threw 83 mph across the diamond with good whip through release from a higher slot. Throws carried well. A right-handed hitter with a narrow base and upright stance. He used a bigger leg lift trigger to get on time. He had a lower back elbow in his setup, with the strength to work through the zone with aggression. He had good intent in his actions with the ability to lift the ball. Good strength with some juice shown during his round of BP swings. Also took to the mound as a right-handed pitcher who worked from the stretch. He closed up as he came set before using a big leg lift up above the belt. He carries the front side well, extending. He had a clean arm path, hiding the ball well through the back. Real fast arm with acceleration through release. He created some angle on the fastball with an arm-side run to the pitch. The fastball got up to 84 mph and had spin above 2,100 RPMs. Occasional cut to the fastball when working glove side. Fastball played up in the zone for whiffs, and he showed the pitch often. He mixed in a changeup with some dive to it, in the low-70s with a spin down into the 1600s. He also had an 11/5-shaped breaking ball with a good downer break to it. He minimally used it but had the feel to create good depth on the pitch, with spin up near 2,300 RPMs. Great student. Named to 2024 Chicago Indoor Showcase TP List.
