Austin Abbate is a 2026 OF/UT with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Saline, MI who attends Saline. Primary outfielder with a medium sized frame and athletic build. Fields it off to the side of front foot cleanly. Uses quick choppy steps to get to the ball well. Starts and stays low throughout the process. Uses a crow hop into his throws gaining some good strength and accuracy behind his throws. Was up to 81 from the outfield. Also ran a 7.04 sixty. Right-handed hitter with a wider base and bend in the knees. Uses a stride for weight transfer and timing into contact well. has a quick set of hands and good control of the barrel staying on plane well. Showed that he can launch at times with impact strength out in front. Excellent student.
