2025 PG Fall East Coast Workout Showcase (Friday)
Dwan Barton is a 2026 C/OF with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Harrisburg, PA who attends Central Dauphin East High School. Medium athletic build with good present strength. 6.70 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up one knee down, is quick and athletic out of his crouch but gets rushed, still learning to repeat his actions and footwork, big raw arm strength but still developing accuracy due to his actions and pace, has the tools with additional work and coaching. Would be interesting to see him at other positions with his physical tools. Right handed hitter, sets up slightly spread with a low and tight hand load, short and simple leg raise timer, has strength in his hands and some bat speed, line drive swing plane with gap to gap contact, some impact when everything comes together.
