Jackson Knickerbocker is a 2027 SS/RHP with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Bristol, IL who attends Yorkville. Extra-large, square shouldered frame with some present strength and additional room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.61 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, fundamental footwork in the dirt and works through the baseball well moving towards intended target, glove skill plays out front, maintains body control throughout action, will continue to develop lateral mobility, strong arm with accuracy across the diamond. Also pitched, worked exclusively out of the stretch, belt high leg lift, gets tall on backside and can continue to generate additional drive coming down the mound. Works to a high three-quarters release point, fastball topped out at 83 mph with downhill plane and subtle running life to the arm side. Developing feel for slider with vertical depth and late break, projects well. Right-handed hitter, begins with a wide base and a high back elbow at the plate; loads hands deep at start of process. Turns over the barrel well and remains on time while incorporating lower half nicely. Creates some carry and able to elevate to the pull side with steady hard line drive contact, nice potential to unlock even more juice. 89 mph exit velocity in testing. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
