Tristan Strickland is a 2023 1B/3B with a 6-3 215 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends Decatur. Ran a 7.58 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary first baseman with an extra large frame, paired with strength and physicality to the build. Quick feet with evident range and feel for the glove. Works through the ball ok with smooth defensive actions. Produced throws across at 76-mph. Secondary third baseman, moved ok to the left with soft hands. Throws across at 78-mph. Right-handed pitcher with clean mechanics and a smooth delivery. Short arm action released repertoire from a three-quarter slot. Developing arm-speed out front tunneled a repertoire of a fastball up to 77-mph with life up in the zone and a curveball at 64-mph with sharp, 12/6 break. Right-handed hitter with an open stance and hands low outside his chest in his stance. Rhythm and timing present, with strength in the hands and extension out front.
