Darren Safranski is a 2025 RHP/2B, 3B, OF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Sioux Falls, SD who attends Harrisburg. Features a longer, lean, athletic frame with room to add. Has a four-pitch mix that includes fastball, curveball, slider and changeup. Has a subtle leg kick with a full hip turn into a downhill delivery. Fastball got up to 88 while consistently sitting 86-87. Has a wipeout slider with big sweep. Fastball has arm side run and he locates it effectively in all-four quadrants. Curveball has eleven-five shape with depth. On the infield he showed proper footwork and glove mechanics. Made the plays with a quick transfer and accurate arm across the diamond. Has a wide base at the plate with a toe turn load. Good bat speed and consistently found the barrel with strength in the swing. Ran a 7.40 sixty-yard dash. Named to the 2024 National West Showcase Top Prospect List. Good Student.
