Rey Rivera Gonzalez is a 2026 SS/IF/OF with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Gurabo, PR who attends Puerto Rico Baseball Academy. Medium athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. Primary middle infielder on defense, has quick and active feet and some bounce in his step, gets the glove down early and fields the ball cleanly out front, takes good angles to the ball, has the type of actions that play up in games. Also worked out in the outfield with the same type of strong fundamental actions, longer arm action with some carry on his throws. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a high back elbow load and a barrel tilt start, full path to contact, some uphill plane to the ball, power approach with bat speed that will continue to improve with additional strength and physical maturity. Good student.
