Jacob Szpiganowicz is a 2026 C/OF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Elk Grove Village, IL who attends J B Conant. Recorded a 7.20 second sixty yard dash time. Medium frame with a compact build. Primary catcher works from an even base and set up. Catches and then just steps through it. Short release and accurate. Also worked out in the outfield, fields off to the side of the foot. One-hop accuracy to the plate. Throws it well with lower flight and it comes out smooth. Has a clue for the footwork. Right-handed hitter starts from an even base, utilizes a short toe-tap trigger. Gets the hands deep and rotates through contact. Quick hands with some length through the zone. Best contact coming to the pull-side. Can get on plane and produce well-struck line drives. Intriguing player with upside. Excellent student.
