2024 Colorado Indoor Showcase
Ian Cooley is a 2027 C/2B, 3B with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Castle Rock, CO who attends Valor Christian. Ran a 7.19 second sixty. Primary catcher with a slender projectable build showing room to add strength moving forward. Starts in a game like square stance receiving the ball well out front with developing strength in the hands. Gets the ball out on time with young arm strength that will continue to improve with added strength pairing well with his accuracy. Right handed hitter starts with an open stance and wider base. Lands closed after a lower leg lift with the hands wrapping into the load to create separation. Stays short with the swing path creating some linear contact mostly to the middle of the field. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
