Andre Landau is a 2024 RHP/3B, IF, OF with a 6-5 190 lb. frame from Sylvan Lake, MI who attends West Bloomfield. Tall, slender build with high waist and long arms. 7.28 runner in the sixty-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, compact arm action to a three-quarters slot. Controlled the fastball best to the arm-side, ran it up to 79 mph (1643 RPM). Curveball was landed in the zone, showing consistent shape and up to 65 mph (1774 RPM). Changeup was the best pitch, showed the ability to throw it to both right-handed and left-handed hitters, throws it with conviction, up to 68 mph (1155 RPM). Secondary third baseman, funnels through the middle of the body, has some quickness about the actions, gets rid of it quickly. Arm strength stood out, recorded throws up to 85 mph. Ball got on top of him at times but showed some promise on the infield. Right-handed hitter, open stance with hands set beside his chest. Toe tap trigger, drops into the lower half, consistent path through the zone. Struggled to get timed up consistently but flashed some pop to right-center. Great student.
