Jayden Stegner is a 2028 C/RHP/3B with a 6-1 205 lb. frame from Fort Smith, AR who attends Home School. Extra-large and physical frame. Right-handed hitter, wider base with high back elbow in the stance, gets the barrel through the zone quickly with controlled violence to the swing. Got into the power often with serious jump to the middle of the field when in rhythm, recorded an exit velocity of 89 mph. Primary catcher, one knee down setup, deliberate coming out of the crouch with a mid body exchange into a compact arm action. Gains some ground toward the bag and has arm strength with accuracy to the correct side of the bag, recorded throws up to 72 mph and a pop-time of 2.03. Ran a 8.21 60-yard dash. Also worked out in the infield, fundamental footwork with step by step movements getting to grounders, hands get down early and fields with two hands in the middle of the frame. Solid arm strength across the diamond and projects well at a corner spot, recorded throws up to 84 mph.
