Warren Gunnar is a 2025 2B/RHP, MIF with a 5-11 163 lb. frame from Ypsilanti, MI, who attends Huron. A medium frame and medium build with some athleticism showing. Ran a 7.41 60-yard dash. A primary second baseman who fielded the ball up the middle with some snatch to the hands. Quick to pick with the glove as he works into the funnel with a short and quick arm action. Threw 80 mph across the diamond with some whip to the arm action. A right-handed hitter with a slightly open stance. Uses a low hand and low back elbow setup. Has a toe-tap trigger to get on time with pitches. Showed off the ability to hit the ball hard while working to the middle of the field with a strong finish to his round of BP. Produced a 79mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Also took to the mound as a right-handed pitcher who worked from an over-the-top arm slot. He pitched from the stretch only with low hands at the belt and a quick belt-high leg lift. Medium arm stroke with pretty direct actions moving down the mound. His fastball worked up to 78 mph and spun up to 2,033 RPMs. Paired that with a breaking ball at 66 mph with 12-6 shape to it. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
