William Emerson is a 2028 SS/RHP with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from Portland, OR who attends Central Catholic HS. A primary infielder, secondary pitcher. Showed a developing skill set on the dirt making all the required play and throws with decent actions and accuracy working through the baseball. On the mound he used his fastball/curveball combo running it up to 78. Belt high leg lift, shorter arm action out of a high 3/4 slot and a slight cross-fire delivery. Proved to be a strike thrower and produced some quick outs getting hitters to roll over early in counts. Offensively, Emerson starts in a crouched, balanced stance. Was able to square the ball up a few times showing he had control of the barrel. Named to the Top Prospect list. Excellent student .
