Luke Ontaneda is a 2027 MIF/3B with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Rye, NY who attends Rye. On the dirt, Ontaneda uses quick feet and gets into a good position to defend before delivering accurate throws to first, posting a 77 mph velocity across the diamond. The 5-foot-9 middle infielder posted a 7.30 sixty, showing some running ability. With the bat, Ontaneda showcased a twitchy, clean, and efficient left-handed swing, producing a good bit of line drives to the pull side. He starts with a wide base and a simple load and stride, creating some carry to all fields, including an 82 mph exit velocity. Excellent student.
