Jerriel Lopez is a 2027 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-10 156 lb. frame from Philadelphia, PA who attends Abraham Lincoln. Slender young build. 7.51 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, aggressive to the ball and stays low through fielding, has some first step quickness, long arm action and makes accurate throws, has some athleticism to continue to develop. Switch-hitter at the plate with the same set up from both sides, hits from a straight well balanced stance with a high hand load, lift and replace front leg trigger, some lower half coil, gets better shift into contact from the left side and thus more bat speed, sound swing approach that just needs more strength. Also pitched, throws from a full wind up with a high hand break, 3/4's arm slot with a short stride down the mound. Fastball topped out at 75 mph, stayed down in the zone consistently and threw strikes, flashed a straight change up but didn't throw a breaking ball. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
