Clay Washburn is a 2026 3B/RHP, 1B, OF with a 5-11 200 lb. frame from Prosper, TX who attends Walnut Grove High School. Primary 3B with a physical frame. Fields the ball cleanly and moves well for his size. Made throws with good strength behind them and accuracy. Showed deliberate actions and could get to the ball well. Profiles best on the corner. Also ran a 6.92 sixty. Right-handed hitter with a narrow base starting slightly open. High hand set with bat bend behind the back. Uses a small stride to widen out into contact but could still get into the lower half more. Rotates well at the top half of things. Also pitched throwing from a mid 3/4 slot with arm bend behind the back coming full circle. Uses a leg raise below belt and lands in line well and was quick to the plate from the stretch. Standard fastball that was located and elevated well with some life through the top half of the zone and was up to 81. Developing feel for his off-speed stuff going to a change and curve. Change had fade and could kill spin and could be a pitch to work on more. Excellent Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
