Griffin Parker is a 2028 RHP/1B with a 6-4 195 lb. frame from Cary, NC who attends Green Hope. Long and tall young pitcher's build with lots of physical projection remaining. Works from a full wind up with good direction down the mound, longer front side actions, repeated his mechanics well, best throwing to the arm side. Fastball topped out at 81 mph with some running life that got inside to right handed hitters well. Curveball had some 11/5 shape and depth and created some chase and bad swings at times. Did not observe a change up. Projectable young arm. Right handed hitter, sets up in a narrow and upright stance with a low hand load, big stride into contact, longer swing with developing bat speed. 8.03 runner in the sixty. Secondary first baseman on defense, made accurate throws with good arm strength for the position, developing footwork and overall balance fielding the ball. Very good student.
