Kaleb Oeth is a 2028 OF/RHP/3B with a 6-3 165 lb. frame from Verona, WI who attends Edgewood. Features a tall and lean build with plenty of room to add. Ran a 7.70 60-yd dash. In the OF, showed an aggressive initial approach to the baseball where he operated with some quickness early with some slight slow down into reception. At times fielded a bit deep but mostly out front with clean transfer and used a crowhop to transition into throws. Set uphill shoulders and uses a shorter arm action that got off mostly accurate throws with above avg. strength for his level. In the INF, showed developing actions. Clean defensive round where footwork can be improved but got set into good posture with present glove skill to both sides. Used a glove tap and extra shuffle before working into throws where he kept his shorter arm action that got off mostly accurate throws across. At the plate, sits in a medium base with lower set hands. Simple forward move into launch where his foot gets down early with smaller takeback of his hands. Path looks to work more short-to-ling through. Avg. bat/hand speed for his level. Looked to have trouble getting on time, not finding many barrels at deeper/late contact points. On the mound, displayed a simple/easy operation down the mound. Exclusively from the stretch. Uses a belt high leg lift and works down to a more tall/fall type lower-half. Lands on-line with an avg. length stride. Arm works more compact out the back but continuous to a higher 3/4 slot. Ran the FB up to 78 that exhibited some natural running actions and commanded it to both sides of the plate. Mixed in a developing CB in the low 60s that had shorter depthy shape. Produced plenty of groundballs during his outing.
